A little frustrated….
Hey all,
Yeah, the title kinda says it all. At the moment, I’m a little mfrustrated with my weight loss. Not because I’m not losing weight, but because the numbers on the scale are going down, and yet there is absolutely NO change in my body! I’m trying as hard as I can to stay positive, and I know it won’t happen overnight, but I’ve lost almost 20 pounds… there should be SOME difference, right?
And I know I’m not losing muscle, I eat healthy and drink lots of water and workout 5-7 times a week! So what’s the deal? Has this happened to anyone else? Am I going crazy?
Other then that whole thing, everything else is well. I’m still eating healthy and doing what I can to be healthy… just getting a little frustrated with not actually SEEING a change in my body yet. I’m hoping it will come soon!

Good Morning!! Why are you beating yourself up?? I just took a look at your pictures and I can tell a Huge Difference already!! Look at your arms in each picture, they’ve gotten smaller and now have a bit more definition…You stomach has also gone down as well…
You’re on the right track and you’re doing really really good!!
I think the reason you don’t see it or feel is is because you’re living in your body everyday and it’s harder to realize the changes…
You’re doing excellent, keep on it and I’m sure you’ll start to feel it soon (There’s no way you couldn’t!!)

There are times when I have lost weight and dont see it in my clothes…then all the sudden its like everything is loose and you drop a size. Hang in there…youre doing great!
I know how you feel, it may not seem it to you but perhaps there are changes that you just aren’t noticing. it is harder to see changes on ourselves because we have to see it everyday. Even after 40 lbs lost, i still often feel the same as i did before. I notice the changes mostly when i try on clothes that used to be tight. are you notices changes in the way your clothing fits?
Also, i didn’t really notice big changes in the way my body looked until i was about 20+ lost. Mostly because my weight loss has been evenly distributed, not specifically to one area such as my arms or stomach. Just keep up the good work, you will get there. Don’t get too discouraged. Female bodies are tricky things.
p.s. i notice changes in your pictures too!

Thank you all for the support!
To fritz, no, there is no difference in how my clothing is fitting. If there was, I wouldn’t be so frustrated I think. I’ve lost weight 2 times before this, and it always showed pretty quickly, so I think that is why this time I’m frustrated. Then again, I know I have to take into account that though my weight was going up, my clothes weren’t changing that much either after I got past 225 or so. I just have to keep plugging away at it. Despite the lack of noticeable physical changes, I feel a lot better now that I’m living a healthier life.
I agree.. I can see a difference in your pictures.. I can see that you’ve lost weight! Maybe you need to step back and take a long hard look in the mirror. lol 20 pounds?! You’re doing great! BE HAPPY!
I’ve lost around 10 pretty fast and I can’t tell a difference but my family keeps noticing.. Maybe it’s because we’re to hard on ourselves?
But I can tell a difference in those pictures
You look good. Your definitely on the right track. Just ensure that you are working with some weights to keep your muscle. And drink a protein shake. Get one with low carbs & low calories. I get mine from GNC. It will help you to keep and restore your muscle.
